1988 Plymouth Sundance Turbo
As of 10/5/01 this car is sold. It had the 2.2 Turbo I w/automatic trans, and was stock other then a boost bleed.
Before the head gasket blew it would surprisingly do 0-60 in under 7.8 seconds and had no problem smoking the tires (brand new general 225/60R15s) when brake-torque launched at 2500rpm. The C/V joints clicked on any accelleration and ended up being replaced with "non-turbo" ones when the new ones did the same thing.

It wore Shelby Lancer wheels on the front and "Pizza" wheels on the back from my '86 Daytona

The tinted headlight covers shown on the car are courtesy of S.E.M. and can be had for $20 plus shipping

The "Sundance" window logo was an old Direct Connection peice I found on eBay. I put the nose cover on to cover some parking lot damage from a previous owner.

I found the window louvers in the back seat of a Dodge Shadow in the local junkyard. They were removed and sold on eBay before I traded the car in.

The engine had a brand new MP head gasket on it along with a crinkle-finish valve cover that I did myself. I got rid of the car because there was a lot of blow-by from the piston rings.
It was traded in towards a 1989 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. As of Feb 03 the Sundance is still running as I have seen it in a couple of parking lots around town.
