My 1986 Dodge Daytona Turbo Z CS
This is the Dodge Daytona that I paid $150 for.
The car looks a lot better in the picture then it really is, but is
was still a steal at $150 cash
The front fender has been replaced because a previous owner smashed
it on somethimg. Also the rear bumper is cracked and the hatchback was
replaced with one from a Laser XT (wrong spoiler). Along with some missing
interior trim pieces and a slipping transmission.
Apparently it has the "CS" (shelby) package which I believe means it
has a better suspension.
12/4/01 Almost two years ago the car stopped running. Turns out
it was the fusible link that goes to the ignition switch. I temporarily
jumpered the link and the car started on the first crank.
12/7/01 Replaced the fusible link. I plan on finishing the body
work and will attempt to unload this car next summer.
